Business Support Funding

One of CFHS’s roles is to improve and increase the robustness of organisations delivering community food and health activities, so that they are better able to overcome challenges to their long-term sustainability. Community food initiatives that expect to face sustainability issues within the next 6-18 months are invited to apply to CFHS to be part of its business support programme, which has just been launched.

This two-stage programme provides one-to-one business advice and support from a social enterprise support agency, and will include the following:

Stage one: assessment of needs and options appraisal (up to two days);
Stage two: addressing issues and taking forward business development opportunities identified in stage one (up to five days).

CFHS is working with three social enterprise agencies that will provide the business advice and support.An application form (PDF 93 kb) and full guidelines (PDF 89 kb) are now available. Applications should be submitted by 31 October 2009. If you have any queries, please contact Anne
